Here come the Bucs! Just in time to give people hope that maybe the 2nd half will be magical. They have won 7 of their 10, taken 3 series in a row, and just won three straight from the divison leading Brewers.

What an optimist will say:
- LaRoche is now starting to hit like we expected him to.
- Bay is destined to come out of his slump.
- Doumit will keep hacking away.
- Sanchez is starting to look like last year.
- Gorzelanny and Snell are a great 1-2 pitching punch.

A realist will say:
- These are the Pirates. Enough said.
